Prof. Dr. Horst H. Siedentopf, EMA-President

Prof. Dr. Horst H. Siedentopf studied business studies in Heidelberg and Cologne and completed his studies in 1969 with the promotion.

With the focus on energy economics, finance, international trade and logistic he was in management capacities at ESSO, the Stinnes AG and the “Metallgesellschaft”.

In December 1999 he was appointed professor for Foreign trade and International management at the University for applied Sciences in Hamburg.
 
In 2003 he assumed office of he Honorary Consulate of Norway, which he executed until 2006 when the Norway consulate genereal was reestablished .
 
Since March 7th 2007 Siedentopf is complimentary in charge of the representation of Morocco in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein as honorary consul.
 
He is married with the author Dr. Monika Siedentopf. They have two adult children. 

Since the creation of EMA (August 2008), Prof. Siedentopf acts as an active member of the advisory council supports the work of EMA with high commitment. He was in charge of several projects, made important contacts for EMA and took part in official round tables.

Prof Dr. Horst H. Siedentopf was elected president concordantly by the EMA-directorate in the forefront oft the celebrations of the annual existence of EMA in Berlin.
