General Indications for the EMA Job Market

Structure

The job market is divided into two subsections "Applications" and "Vacancies" which you can access directly via the header bar at the top of the page. Entries for these subsections are registered and will be listed separately. Within the resepective subsections, entries are sorted according to job category (Marketing, HR, Health Services etc.).

Browse and search for offers and applications

Within the respective subsections you may either browse the individual category folders (HR, Marketing, Health Services etc.) or search individually for specific job categories, type of position or preferred countries via the "Search" button at the bottom of the page. Please note that you cannot search for applications and vacancies in the same process but need to search for these separately within the respective subsections.

Register an entry

  • Click on the "Create new entry" button at the bottom of the page within your desired subsection (Application or Vacancy). You can now register an entry which will be published in one or several category folders (Marketing HR, Health Services...). Please note, that you cannot modify your entry once you have completed registration.
  • Please note that "Umlaute" (ä,ö,ü) as well as the German 'ß' cannot be entered in the box "Brief description" and will induce the issuance of an error message. Please use the respective variations 'ae', 'oe', 'ue' and 'ss'.
  • Document upload: you can only upload one document. To provide sufficient information to relevant contacts it is advisable that you create a single pdf file (f. ex. via Adobe Acrobat Pro) containing your cover letter, CV and relevant certificates.
  • Once you have confirmed your entry, you will receive an e-mail to the address you specified upon registration. This e-mail will contain a link, which you should click to confirm your definite entry. Please note, that this link can only be clicked once; hereafter it is deactivated and you will receive an error message upon clicking it. This does not mean, however that your registration has not been confirmed.
  • Your entry will be published, once the EMA has validated your entry. This will generally take between 1-2 days.
  • Entries will be published for a period of 90 days. Hereafter, your entry will automatically be deactivated.
